We aim to keep you up to date about developments at the practice through this practice website and our practice newsletter - which is available at the surgery quarterly.
INFLUENZA VACCINATIONS:
We are now carrying out flu jabs at the practice. Please contact reception to make an appointment. We would advise all patients over the age of 65 or in an "at risk" group to have the vaccination now.
If you are under 65 years of age and NOT in at risk group, but would still like to have the flu jab then please call make an appointment at Goode's Pharmacy for a private vaccination. Their no. is 020 8892 1614.
Details about the members of the practice team are given in this website, together with how to contact us. We are constantly striving to improve our services and access arrangements and value any feedback and suggestions. You can now order your repeat prescriptions through the website and download some practice forms.
If you need one of the following services then please make an appointment with one of our Practice Nurses: regular diabetes, asthma, blood pressure or hypertension checks. Smears. Travel medicine. Contraception advice. Alternatively you might need to see our Healthcare Assistant - she can also do spirometry, blood tests (at booked appointments) and new patient checks.
If you are going away and need advice on travel medicine make an appointment at least 2 weeks in advance with our Practice Nurse. We are also a registered Yellow Fever vaccination centre.
If you require a repeat prescription please apply in writing to the surgery, allowing at least 2 working days for them to be processed. We are in the process of changing some patients repeat prescriptions over to 28-day prescribing - this is to reduce the chance of meidcation errors or wastage. Please ask for further details at reception. |
